I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
